Mark A. Palinkas | Bio


Mark Palinkas is a Commercial Underwriter & Marketing Representative with Oswego County Mutual Insurance Company of Parish, New York. Mark received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1995, and obtained his Certificate in General Insurance in 1991. Mark continues to maintain a valid New York State insurance broker's license and has been an active instructor for CISR programs and CIC institutes since 2001 and is also an Educational Consultant for CIC institutes conducted in Connecticut. Mark currently resides in Hastings, New York.

Michael Thomas DeHetre | Bio


Mike DeHetre is Vice President of Underwriting for Berkley Regional Marketplace in Wilmington, DE. Mike began his career in the insurance industry in 1993 after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Maryland. He subsequently earned his M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. Mike received his CIC designation in 2002 and his CRM designation in 2008. Mike traces the path of his career across the United States including Maryland, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota, Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, and Connecticut with companies including USF&G, The Hartford, Acadia, and Travelers. He has had the opportunity to watch the growth and development of the small commercial segment in particular from the use rating manuals, to rating disks and dial-up mainframe access, to the proliferation of mobile technologies today. Mike's passion for education has led him to many teaching opportunities throughout his career. He is excited to continue to bring his enthusiasm and commitment to the industry and to many more groups in the future.

William V. Reedy | Bio


Bill Reedy is President of Performance Partners, an insurance and professional skill training and consulting company headquartered in Seville, Ohio. Bill's special interests lie in Commercial Property/Casualty and Agency-Company relations. He is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio; is a published author in the area of Business Income and has conducted agency training sessions since 1994. Bill is a CIC Faculty member and earned his CIC designation in 1993. Bill has instructed in several states over a wide range of insurance topics. Prior to this, Bill was a Personal and Commercial Lines Underwriter and Marketing Manager for Westfield Group, Westfield Center, OH. Bill also served as Manager of Commercial Lines Training Delivery, and was responsible to the Commercial Lines Graduate Development Program. Previously, Bill managed the TAPP program for new producer training at Westfield Insurance. He has also served on the Commercial Lines P&C Licensing Review committee for the Ohio Department of Insurance. More recently, Bill has served as an instructor with the Insurance Company Operations training team for the National Alliance. Bill is an advocate for continuous learning and The National Alliance programs. His company and industry experience along with his presentation ability combine to add value and enhance the knowledge, and performance of fellow insurance professionals.
