Understanding Experience Modification

This short course will introduce the participant to the basics of experience modifiers used in workers compensation rating across the country. We’ll explain how the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) gets the data to do the calculations and what they do with that data to produce an emod for employers. You’ll understand better how the emod is applied to the workers compensation policy and how they can change over time.
