OVERVIEW AND TOPICS


Implementation and monitoring skills will help your school risk management team improve their risk administration efforts. Participants will gain knowledge of the risk management information system (RMIS), communications tools, and procedures for supplying resources to the district, such as request for proposals and competitive sealed bids, as well as how to execute and monitor the school risk management program. The course is completed with creating a district code of ethics and an ongoing ethics program.
Learn about the environments that affect school risks and gain an understanding of the risk management process.
Learn the how school risk managers develop the risk management team with appropriate internal and external team members.
Action planning, acquiring resources through requests for proposals (RFPs) and tips for successful RFP submissions.
Strengths and weaknesses of using benchmarking as a tool, credible data, and how the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) assists the risk manager.
Concepts of business ethics, where/how problems originate, importance of a Code of Ethics within the organization and the resulting benefits, managing workplace ethics with preferred behaviors and avoiding conflicts.
