Managing Personal Risks with Insurance
Participants will examine every day personal risk situations that can result in a significant financial loss. They will analyze liability and property coverage, limitations, exclusions, and endorsements of the ISO Homeowners and ISO Personal Auto contracts along with other company specific forms and determine a solution to the management of these risks.
Workers Compensation & Employers Liability Problems and Solutions
Participants will explore the important legal concepts that establish the workers compensation system and the related employer exposures. First, they will review the fundamentals of Workers Compensation. Next, they will review each part of a Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Policy. They will discuss the importance of Items 3A, 3B, and 3C on the Information Page and identify the problems encountered by the insured, insurance company, and agent. They will examine the policy and important endorsements that may be used as possible solutions to the problems. The session will conclude with a discussion on leasing.
