Jeffrey W. Evans | Bio

Jeff Evans is the President of UR Risk, LLC and a consultant with Securance Corporation Agency, an independent full-service agency located in Houston, Texas. He also serves on the Legislative Committee for the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston. Prior to joining Securance, Jeff worked in various sales, sales management, and operations management roles, developing a unique perspective of the insurance business covering sales, marketing, product development, administration, underwriting, reinsurance, and overall operations. During his time on the wholesale side of the business Jeff taught classes on long term care insurance, Medicare products, non-subscription programs, group and individual medical plans, Section 125 plans and regulatory compliance, helping brokers learn new products, how to sell them, and how to serve their clients. He also served on the advisory boards of various carriers. Jeff earned a B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and his USMC in 1991. He later earned his LTCP designation in 2002, Certified Self-Funded Specialist designation in 2014, Advanced Self-Funded Certification in 2017, and his CRM Designation in 2017.

John Chapman | Bio

Chappy Chapman is Chief Growth Officer of Correll Insurance Group, a privately-held independent insurance agency with 25 offices throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. He also serves as Agency Manager of the Spartanburg, South Carolina Office and Senior Account Executive with Correll Insurance of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Prior to joining Correll, Chappy was an account executive with Riley & Associates, an independent insurance agency that has been in operation in the Charleston area since 1936. Before joining Riley & Associates, for six years, Chappy served as General Manager of White Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency with offices in Black Mountain and Arden, North Carolina. He began his insurance career in 1974, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina. The majority of Chappy's experience has been in the Independent Agency System; however, he has spent time on the company side as Marketing Manager of Old Charleston Insurance Company and Branch Manager of Medical Mutual Insurance Company of North Carolina. Additionally, Chappy has served as Director of Education for the Independent Insurance Agents of South Carolina. He is a member of The National Alliance National Faculty and is an Educational Consultant of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1980 and he has also earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Ross Winston Pearce | Bio

Ross began his career in the insurance business as an agent in 1985 in Santa Maria, California with Farmers Insurance. After seven successful years, he moved to East Tennessee as a District Manager. He was recruited by Farmers to become an employee moving to Iowa as the Life and Financial Services Manager for the state. When the University of Farmers began, he was tapped to lead the training division and helped develop this university into the number one corporate university in the world in 2011. Ross left corporate life in 2012 and took over an agency in Austin, Texas. In 2015 he retired and has been devoting time to training agents and volunteer activities. In April of 2017 Ross accepted a position as Director of Coaching with Contract Coach, a firm comprised of experienced insurance agents and managers whose goal is to help agency's re-shape their business, so that the agency owners can achieve their individual personal goals. Ross earned his Certified Insurance Counselors designation in 1999 and is a National Faculty member for The National Alliance, teaching at the CIC Life and Health and Personal Lines Institutes. In addition to his CIC designation, Ross has also earned the insurance designations of Charter Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Consultative Sales Graduate (CSG).
