Catherine Trischan | Bio


Cathy Trischan has been with the E&K Insurance Group in Eatontown, New Jersey since 1996, and currently serves as Director of Commercial Underwriting. She began her insurance career upon graduation from Rutgers University in 1987. She has worked as a claims adjuster for a major property and casualty carrier as well as in the commercial departments of several New Jersey agencies. In addition to her work with E&K, Cathy provides education and consulting services to other agents and brokers. She is a National Faculty member of The National Alliance, speaking in the CIC, CISR and Ruble programs. She also serves as a mentor for new CIC and CISR faculty. Cathy is a regular presenter for various agents’ associations and other organizations and has taught both pre-licensing and continuing education courses. She has written courses and articles on various insurance topics. A firm believer that one should never stop learning, Cathy holds several professional designations including CIC, CRM and CPCU.

Christine Nilsen Marciano | Bio


Christine Marciano is a Sales & Training Leader for WCF Insurance, a 103-year old work comp carrier. She was previously with Nationwide where her sales successes earned her a place at Conference of Champions for 2017 & 2018. With 16 years of industry experience, she has worked in Claims, Agent & Underwriter Training, and Sales. She currently manages a California territory for WCF. Christine travels nationally to work with agents, sales managers and underwriters, teaching coverage, communications and sales. As a seasoned conference speaker, she has been named twice by Training magazine as an Emerging Training Leader and is a published author. In 2014, she was honored with Nationwide's CEO Award.. She holds an Advanced Communicator Bronze from Toastmasters International. Christine is active in SITE (Society of Insurance Trainers & Educators) and is a faculty member of the Train the Trainer program, designed to educate insurance training professionals across the U.S. Christine has a Business degree from Oregon State University, received her CIC designation in 2007, and is working toward her CRM designation.

Sara Bradshaw Ray | Bio


Sara also has over 30 years in agency ownership and management. She is a licensed Property & Casualty, Life & Health independent agent and also maintains her Certified Insurance Counselor designation of distinction. Her agency management experience is complimented by a background in company commercial underwriting which enables her to uniquely step into the shoes of her agency principal clients with empathetic eyes to help evaluate and manage their agency ownership challenges. Not only does Ms. Ray bring a wealth of industry expertise, resources and knowledge to the table, her vast experience coupled with a keen sense of the dynamics of efficiency, and its impact on productivity uniquely suits her to meet a variety of operational, management, and marketing needs in organizations today. She is the founder of SynerDynamics Group, a consulting firm that has become known as "THE agency asset maximization resource" in the insurance industry today. A renowned speaker on the subject of agency efficiency, Ray advocates that by capitalizing on the power of synergy the result is maximized productivity which adds strength to the organizational dollar and ultimately a blacker bottom line. With a lifelong passion for leadership development, Ms. Ray is also an executive coach and also founded MyNetwork, a nationwide facilitated mastermind network for female leaders.
