CGL & The Contractor: Traps & Tricks
Participants will identify the “traps” in the most current ISO Commercial General Liability Policy and learn ways to avoid them. They will examine coverage issues related to Coverage A - Bodily Injury and Property Damage and Coverage B - Personal & Advertising Injury Liability. They will examine the meaning and intent of selected CGL exclusions and discuss possible insurance solutions to better serve their clients.
Answering Difficult Personal Lines Questions
Participants will analyze significant current issues encountered when writing homeowners and personal automobile coverages. They will examine coverages and exclusions provided in the latest edition of the Homeowners Policy and Personal Auto Policy. They will discuss how the HO Policy provides or excludes coverage for exposures, such as: home occupancy, vandalism, vacancy, borrowed property, increased cost of construction due to ordinance or loss. They will examine how the PAP provides or excludes coverage for exposures, such as: newly acquired autos, temporary substitute autos, furnished autos, use of personal auto on behalf of an employer, underage driver joyriding in parent’s vehicle, and legal responsibility under a rental car contract.
Decision Risks and Coverages for Executive Risks
Participants will explore Directors and Officers Liability, Employee Benefits Liability, and Fiduciary Liability issues faced by business owners. They will be able to explain why this coverage is needed and learn ways to offer this coverage in the most economical fashion.
Cyber Risk - Exposures and Products
This session provides an introduction to e-commerce issues and opportunities, including areas of agent concentration, technology E&O issues, and common cyber threats. Agents will identify possible solutions to the unique exposures and coverage gaps present in e-commerce risks.
