Whose Risk Is It? Managing Contracts & the Risk Transfer Process/Driving Down Cost of Accidents
In this session, agents will examine the risks associated with contractual relationships, especially as it relates to the operation of autos on company business. Agents will review the key exposures related to vehicles and drivers, as well as some of the risk control and risk transfer techniques available to their commercial clients.

The risk of damage from flood exists in nearly every community. Agents will examine the National Flood Insurance Program and learn about the unique aspects of the coverage from the mountains to the coast. They will review recent changes and discuss contemplated changes. They will take a look at the North Carolina Association and the interaction with flood coverage.

Using various claim situations, insurance professionals will identify some common coverage issues that create problems. They will review the appropriate policy and endorsements and determine whether coverage is provided and how best to address any gaps in coverage.
