Michael Kersgard | Bio

Michael Kersgard is an independent P&C and L&H licensed agent in Texas. He most recently served as the Life and Health Academic Director for The National Alliance for more than 6 years, 2008 to 2014. In addition to being an independent agent, Michael continues to be a National Faculty Member, CISR instructor and Educational Consultant for The National Alliance. During his forty plus years working in the industry, his experience includes Life, Health, and Property & Casualty products in personal lines, commercial lines, and farm/agribusiness. Michael has been involved in a variety of functions including agent, marketing, sales management, and agent training. Through the years he has conducted new agent training schools, continuing education seminars, and license training schools.

Ross Winston Pearce | Bio

Ross began his career in the insurance business as an agent in 1985 in Santa Maria, California with Farmers Insurance. After seven successful years, he moved to East Tennessee as a District Manager. He was recruited by Farmers to become an employee moving to Iowa as the Life and Financial Services Manager for the state. When the University of Farmers began, he was tapped to lead the training division and helped develop this university into the number one corporate university in the world in 2011. Ross left corporate life in 2012 and took over an agency in Austin, Texas. In 2015 he retired and has been devoting time to training agents and volunteer activities. In April of 2017 Ross accepted a position as Director of Coaching with Contract Coach, a firm comprised of experienced insurance agents and managers whose goal is to help agency's re-shape their business, so that the agency owners can achieve their individual personal goals. Ross earned his Certified Insurance Counselors designation in 1999 and is a National Faculty member for The National Alliance, teaching at the CIC Life and Health and Personal Lines Institutes. In addition to his CIC designation, Ross has also earned the insurance designations of Charter Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Consultative Sales Graduate (CSG).

Sidney Earl Aycock | Bio

Earl Aycock, Jr. graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi in June 1976 with a BA degree in Political Science. After graduation, he moved to Meridian, Mississippi and began working in his family insurance business that same month. In 1982 Earl received his CIC designation and has maintained it since that time. He now owns the Aycock Insurance Agency, Inc. and has formed with two other agencies, The Insurance Center of Meridian, LLC. Earl began his teaching career in Sunday school at the First Baptist Church of Meridian, Mississippi. In 1985, he also became a certified flight instructor through the Federal Aviation Administration and has helped many people become certified pilots. The enjoyment and sense of satisfaction he gained from these teaching endeavors ultimately led him to the resolution that teaching insurance would be just as fulfilling. He also realized that in teaching others, the teacher benefits as well.
