Commercial Lines Coverage Traps: Old and New
Participants will examine some commercial lines coverage traps, found in the ISO Commercial General Liability and Commercial Property policies, that continue to confuse insureds, agents, and adjusters. They will discuss the ISO CGL definition of insured contract and contractual liability, the exclusions for damage to property and damage to your work, vacancy condition, action-over claims, and subcontractors. They will learn about several emerging commercial lines exposures and their potential coverage traps, such as: evolving cyber exposures, intellectual property use, supply-chain interruption, business use of personal others, and more.
