Participants will review the Business Auto Policy and examine several of the important contract provisions, including definitions, symbols, liability, and physical damage coverage. They will also discuss Uninsured Motorist, Medical Payments, and Personal Injury Protection.
Contractor's Equipment and Builders Risk Marine Lines
After an overview of inland marine insurance and the distinction between controlled and uncontrolled inland marine forms, agents will examine coverage issues related to Contractor’s Equipment, Builder’s Risk, and Installation Floaters. They will complete a detailed study of the variations in Contractor’s Equipment Floaters, Inland Marine Builders Risk Policies, and Installation Floaters written in today’s insurance marketplace. Participants will be able to explain what is and is not covered, as well as additional coverage to consider. They will discuss interests covered, covered causes of loss, exclusions, policy provisions, underwriting concerns, valuation, and premium determination. They will evaluate the purpose and use of common endorsements to modify coverage for the inland marine exposures.
