FACULTY BIO


Charles Hadley


Charles Hadley retired as the Senior Account Services Manager for B & L Brokerage Services and Protective Insurance Company, members of the Baldwin and Lyons Insurance group. In this position he was involved in the marketing and servicing of accounts throughout the US. This includes working with large and not so large clients on all aspects of their insurance programs, commercial liability (both auto and general liability), workers compensation excess liability, commercial property and any associated personal lines risks. Prior to this Charles held various positions with B & L Brokerage, including Director of Operations and Marketing Director. Charles also held a number of positions with various companies within the Baldwin and Lyons group. He has been a loss control representative, an account executive, a product manager, an underwriting manager and a marketing manager for several of the Baldwin and Lyons companies. Prior to this, he was an operations manager and an exclusive agent for a large national insurance company. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics, and he earned his CIC designation in 2005 and his CRM designation in 2009. Charles has made several presentations to agents on transportation, commercial lines, and personal lines insurance throughout a number of states associated with Protective or Sagamore Insurance companies. He previously spent his spare time, officiating high school and college football and basketball, over a span of 28 years. His experience on the field and on the court, has reinforced the importance of staying focused and looking one step ahead both in the game on the court and in the insurance marketplace.
