In this session, participants will understand the role and function of an insurance adjuster and importance of their relationship with the insurance agency, avoiding bad faith claims, and misconceptions about coverages and exclusions under certain personal and commercial policies.
Garage Coverage Form v. Auto Dealers Coverage Form
After an overview of this important insurance product, participants will be able to describe the concepts of why it is needed. They will identify differences in the Garage Coverage Form, the Auto Dealer Coverage Form, and the GarageKeepers Endorsement, including general provisions and exclusions and the relationship to their eligible insureds.
What You Auto Know About the BAP: Gaps, Traps or OMG
Participants will identify the gaps and traps in the ISO Business Auto Policy and learn ways to avoid and/or close the gaps in coverage. They will examine BAP endorsements and discuss how they can amend policy provisions, add coverage, or restrict coverage. They will be able to determine how best to address their client’s needs to avoid the gaps and traps in coverage.
CGL & The Contractor: Traps & Tricks
Participants will identify the “traps” in the most current ISO Commercial General Liability Policy and learn ways to avoid them. They will examine coverage issues related to Coverage A - Bodily Injury and Property Damage and Coverage B - Personal & Advertising Injury Liability. They will examine the meaning and intent of selected CGL exclusions and discuss possible insurance solutions to better serve their clients.
