Becky Lathrop is the Vice President of Optimum Performance Solutions, LLC, a company that provides management consulting on a nationwide basis to insurance agencies and carriers. Both her agency and corporate experiences provide unique perspectives when assisting her clients.
Becky earned her CIC designation in 2004 and is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent. She has a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University and has been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Becky has a diverse background in the insurance business, including positions such as Agency Business Consultant, Sales Manager, Underwriting Consultant, Financial/Market Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Office Manager.
Becky helps agencies throughout the United States grow profitably by counseling them in areas such as workflow management, staff stratification/organization and training, sales/ marketing business plans, client retention, strategic planning, and producer management and compensation. She has also developed and facilitates many agency and carrier training programs, including a sales/service training series to assist with cross-up selling growth; marketing/profitability workshops to help agencies manage their loss ratios, and assist them with capitalizing on contingency bonus opportunities.

Sara also has over 30 years in agency ownership and management. She is a licensed Property & Casualty, Life & Health independent agent and also maintains her Certified Insurance Counselor designation of distinction.
Her agency management experience is complimented by a background in company commercial underwriting which enables her to uniquely step into the shoes of her agency principal clients with empathetic eyes to help evaluate and manage their agency ownership challenges.
Not only does Ms. Ray bring a wealth of industry expertise, resources and knowledge to the table, her vast experience coupled with a keen sense of the dynamics of efficiency, and its impact on productivity uniquely suits her to meet a variety of operational, management, and marketing needs in organizations today.
She is the founder of SynerDynamics Group, a consulting firm that has become known as "THE agency asset maximization resource" in the insurance industry today. A renowned speaker on the subject of agency efficiency, Ray advocates that by capitalizing on the power of synergy the result is maximized productivity which adds strength to the organizational dollar and ultimately a blacker bottom line.
With a lifelong passion for leadership development, Ms. Ray is also an executive coach and also founded MyNetwork, a nationwide facilitated mastermind network for female leaders.

Dr. Victor Puleo is the Davey Chair of Risk Management and Insurance in the Lacy School of Business at Butler University, Indianapolis, IN. He earned a doctorate degree in risk management and insurance at Florida State University. Dr. Puleo has articles published in the Journal of Insurance Issues, Risk Management and Insurance Review, Managerial Finance, and Best's Review.
The Davey Risk Management and Insurance Program at Butler University equips students with a variety of experiential education - including two required for-credit internships. Butler University's College of Business is the top-ranked business school in the country for internships according to Bloomberg Businessweek's rankings. Dr. Puleo is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Financial Planner ™ Certificant. He is an Educational Consultant (1994) and National Faculty Member (2008) for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Dr. Puleo is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of The National Alliance Research Academy.
Prior to being named the Davey Chair of Risk Management and Insurance, Dr. Puleo was an Associate Professor of Insurance and Risk Management at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Conway, AR. The insurance and risk management undergraduate degree program at UCA is nationally ranked. Students from UCA were the first in the country to be conferred the University Associate Certified Insurance Counselor (UACIC) designation. The UACIC designation was created to give college students pursuing an insurance and risk management undergraduate degree the opportunity to attain a new level of professionalism through advanced practical education while in college. This designation is a program of the National Alliance Research Academy.
