Join in this session and learn how various insurance and non-insurance risk transfer tools and techniques can be used to manage and transfer their client’s environmental exposures. We will discuss the overlooked benefits of Environmental Liability Insurance and review coverages provided in various ELI policies.
In this session participants will better understand environmental liability issues affecting all businesses today. They will discuss the benefits of Environmental Liability Insurance and review coverages provided in various EIL insurance policies including Green Insurance Coverage. They will examine how environmental liability insurance can fill gaps in standard property and casualty insurance to cover these unique exposures.
Ethical Issues
In this session, participants will understand ethical challenges that insurance professionals face, difference between legal and ethical responsibilities and their fiduciary duties and obligations to the customer, insurer, and peers.
Commercial Liability Endorsements To Watch Out For
Agents will examine some of the endorsements that can severely restrict coverage under the Commercial General Liability (CGL) Policy. They will review several ISO endorsements and see examples of non-standard endorsements often used by insurers. In each case, they will discuss the effect that the endorsement has on the coverage that would otherwise have been afforded by the CGL Policy.
Insuring the Building Project: Builders Risk and Installation Floater
Agents will discuss how to insure building projects using Builders Risk Coverage forms. They will identify some of the pitfalls to using Commercial Property policies to cover construction and renovation projects. They will review key features to look for in a Builders Risk Policy and discuss how to examine important conditions and exclusions related to coverage. They will learn how to use the Installation Floater to meet the needs of trade contractors involved in building projects.
Understanding (and Managing) the 3 Big Government Benefits: Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid
Participants will be introduced to the three major government programs available to most U.S. citizens. They will learn the requirements to qualify for the programs, the benefits these programs have, and the gaps that exist.
