Graham Kenyon is the Vice President of Risk Management at Orion Group Holdings, Inc. in Houston, Texas. Orion Group Holdings, Inc., a leading specialty construction company, provides services both on and off the water in the continental United States, Alaska, Canada and the Caribbean Basin through its heavy civil marine construction segment and its commercial concrete segment. The Company's heavy civil marine construction segment services includes marine transportation facility construction, marine pipeline construction, marine environmental structures, dredging of waterways, channels and ports, environmental dredging, design, and specialty services. Its commercial concrete segment provides turnkey concrete construction services including pour and finish, dirt work, layout, forming, rebar, and mesh across the light commercial, structural and other associated business areas. The Company is headquartered in Houston, Texas with regional offices throughout its operating areas.
Prior to working for Orion Marine, Graham was the Director of Risk Management at Transocean Offshore, the world's leading offshore driller. Among other duties, Graham personally handled all of Transocean's claims and insurance issues associated with the BP Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill.
Graham is originally from the United Kingdom and has an insurance background. He worked in London for one of the international P&I Clubs with the London Market, before moving to Houston to work at a leading TPA as their Litigation Manager, handling claims for a number of oilfield drillers and service providers.
Sarah J. Warhaftig | Bio
Sarah Warhaftig is the Academic Director of Risk Management Programs for The National Alliance, where she is responsible for the Certified Risk Manager, Certified personal Risk Manager and Certified School Risk Manager designation programs.
Sarah held the positions of Director of Operations for Aparicio, Walker & Seeling, and immediate past President of AWS Risk Management, LLC in Metairie, Louisiana. Clients included public entities, third party administrators, boards, and private corporations. She consulted with large municipal and not-for-profit clients regarding their insurance and risk management programs. Sarah was responsible for assisting clients in managing through insurance program transitions. Post Hurricane Katrina, she worked with municipal clients in Stafford Act compliance, quantifying losses and perfecting claims, as well as analyzing continued risk retention abilities.
As Vice President/State Director of Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc., a third-party claims administrator licensed in 38 states, Sarah was responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as profit and loss accountability for branches throughout Louisiana. Sarah served on the Municipal Account Business Development Team and as account manager for several entities, including the City of New Orleans, the City of Memphis, Jefferson Parish, and the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board.
During the course of her career, Sarah has held positions as risk management director, assistant vice-president of claims, and regional claims manager. She is a graduate of Tulane University and of Rutgers Law School.
Susan Box | Bio
Susan Box is the Director of NEXCOM's Safety, Claims and Risk Management program. NEXCOM is a $2.7 billion company, operating 94 retail store complexes including: automotive service centers, gas stations, food outlets, laundry and dry cleaning, barber and beauty salons, flower shops, tailor shops, optical and optometry services, and complete vending services, as well as 39 Navy Lodge hotels located around the US and in nine foreign countries. NEXCOM employs more than 13,000 civilian associates worldwide with a mission to serve military families.
Susan oversees NEXCOM's property, casualty, general liability, worker's compensation and insurance programs. Susan also oversees the Command Safety Program and develops, implements and administers Safety related training programs for the company. Susan also serves as Vice Chairman on the Board of Trustees for the NEXCOM Pension Fund.
Susan has held senior management Loss Prevention/Safety positions in the specialty retail sector at the corporate, regional, and store levels. She is a member of the National Retail Federation's Women in Loss Prevention Caucus, RIMS, and was a past co-chairperson of the Hampton Roads Retail Alliance Loss Prevention Task Force. Susan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas and received her CRM designation in 2009. Susan has been teaching Risk Management topics for The National Alliance since 2016.
