Additional Insured Endorsements
Participants will gain an understanding of hold harmless/indemnity agreements and the waiver of subrogation concept. They will identify the types of insureds and reasons for requesting additional insured status. They will identify the problems created when adding additional insureds and how to handle or minimize them. They will discuss the purpose, coverage and limitations or exclusions for additional insured endorsements. The discussion will focus on additional insured status as it relates to the Commercial General Liability Policy.
Cyber Liability
Participants will gain an understanding of the need for Cyber Liability coverage and the issues of this market segment. They will discuss the types of cyber coverage available – content liability, privacy liability, security breach liability, and security breach expense. They will examine third-party and first-party exposures and how best to provide coverage. They will review common characteristics of cyber liability insurance policies.
Ethics for Today
Participants will learn the ethical behavior and standards in dealing with the day-to-day realities of the complex, ethical issues of the insurance industry. They will discuss reasons for unethical actions and examine the guidelines for ethical decision-making. Using real-life scenarios, agents will be able to identify what constitutes an ethical dilemma and recommend an approach to choosing a valid ethical solution.
