In this session, participants will learn to identify those cyber exposures and examine their impact into property, casualty, and other claims that may arise. They will discuss the risk management challenges and discuss insurance coverage solutions found beyond the cyber policy for these unique exposures.
Healthcare Opportunities, Exposures and Coverages for the Non-Specialist Agent
Participants will understand how healthcare risks differ from those of other industries and learn about the wide variety of healthcare-related operations. They will discuss how malpractice coverage functions for medical professionals, how underwriters evaluate and rate risks, and what coverages are most pertinent to healthcare providers and related entities.
Risk Control for Employment-Related Practices
Participants will discuss the employer’s liability relationship with employees and the potential coverage pitfalls that can develop from that relationship. They will review the definitions of employment practices laws, federal and state laws, tort actions, as well as court decisions. They will examine workplace trends affecting employment practices today. They will discuss risk management treatment for these exposures including insurance policies and their provisions.
Non-Owned Autos Insurance Coverage Available With Commercial & Personal Auto Policies
Participants will discuss significant coverage issues associated with non-owned autos used for personal use and used in business. They will review the types of non-owned autos including leased, rented, borrowed, hired, etc. They will identify the exposures and protection provided in the latest edition of the ISO Personal Auto Policy and ISO Business Automobile Coverage form along with endorsements available to modify coverage. They will also examine rental car contracts and coverage available using insurance, waivers, and credit cards.
