OVERVIEW AND TOPICS


After an overview of the Nationwide Inland Marine Definition, participants will discuss the difference between controlled and uncontrolled inland marine lines. They will be able to identify the characteristics and give examples of each. Agents will examine coverage issues related to several major Commercial Inland Marine lines of business, including Builders Risk, Installation Floaters, Contractors Equipment, and Transportation Insurance policies.
Participants will analyze significant coverage issues associated with home-based businesses. They will be able to identify general and unique exposures to loss, types of in-home businesses, risk management considerations, and methods of insuring exposures. They will review the protection provided in the latest edition of commercial and personal lines policies including Homeowners, Personal Automobile, Personal Umbrella, and Businessowners programs.
