This section starts with an explanation of the historical development and evolutionary process of the Workers Compensation system across the U.S. The section continues by identifying the purposes and objectives of Workers Compensation, along with a deeper dive into how state-specific statutes and regulations shape coverage and administration across jurisdictions. The participant will then discuss the role the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI). Plays in the development of statistical information, forms, and rules. After a review and discussion of the Information Page, the participant will learn about the key components of the standard Workers Compensation Insurance contract.
