Decision Risks and Coverages for Executive Risks
Participants will explore Directors and Officers Liability, Employee Benefits Liability, and Fiduciary Liability issues faced by business owners. They will be able to explain why this coverage is needed and learn ways to offer this coverage in the most economical fashion.
Cyber Risk - Exposures and Products
This session provides an introduction to e-commerce issues and opportunities, including areas of agent concentration, technology E&O issues, and common cyber threats. Agents will identify possible solutions to the unique exposures and coverage gaps present in e-commerce risks.
Solving Troublesome Liability Issues
Participants will learn about the variety of liability exposures and coverages that face the small to middle market commercial account. They will have a better understanding of the Commercial General Liability Occurrence and Claims-Made coverage forms. They will take an in-depth look at Who Is An Insured under the CGL policy and discuss reasons for adding additional insureds. They will discuss the liquor liability exclusion and how to provide adequate coverage for their insureds. They will identify liability issues in the Business Automobile Coverage form. The session will conclude with a discussion of Umbrella and Excess Liability Insurance and Certificates of Insurance. They will identify the problems for each and recommend solutions.
Leased Properties Exposures
Participants will analyze typical provisions in leases for both personal and real property. They will understand the lessee’s responsibility for damages in both the property and casualty areas. They will also understand the hold-harmless agreement and be able to select endorsements needed to protect for both property and casualty.
